A poem for you

[Kayokane]

We toppled Ifrit from his fame,
And tossed the Good King's crown into his flame,
Then we quelled Garuda's mighty tempest,
All at the Grand Companies' behest.

Yet all may be for not,
Blood for blood our battles fought,
Served to feed the beast grown large,
As it prepared its final charge.

Our verdict given by a false jury,
Our sentence carried by imperial fury,
But hope is not yet lost,
Brothers, Sisters protect our banner at all cost!
