You only play it for the Story am i correct here?
So why bother log in now if you do not participate in any Group/endgame content. The Story will not "run away" in a month. You can play it anytime you want. I mean if you only want to enjoy the Story content you should do yourself a favour and do not log in at the Moment for your own Frustration Level.

Statics and Raidgroups in comparison have schedules even the casual raid groups - so it is mandatory for them to log in to prepare for the upcoming raid content.

It does not mean raiders should have a privilege here but if i were in your shoes i would not bother log in until the Situation calmed down a bit because there is no pressure at all.
