Directx11 error

Same issue here since patch 6.01. No issues when playing 6.0 endwalker.

X470 AORUS ULTRA GRAMING
AMD Ryzen 2700X
RAM: 16331 MB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti with latest nvidea driver

I've been having this same issue for months now. When I first started playing the game back in July and I had no issues. Reinstalled windows due to issue with my PC and have been having these problems since. I've tried everything everyone else has said and I'm lost as this point. The problem was manageable before but since the spike in queue times it's an absolute killer. From what I've seen there's quite a few other threads like this one and there has not been an official response from SE. I would also not expect one either considering this issue seems to have been going on for a long time and has yet to be addressed.

Well, 6.05 is out and its neither listed under fixes nor is it even acknowledged in known issues. Good job Square!

same problem. 3 days in a row. in order not to get annoyed even more, I'll wait for the fixes .. 2-4 weeks, apparently.

FYI I had the errors (ntdll.dll, dx11xyz.dll, etc.) right away on launch... couldn't even get to character selection. Switched audio sources and bam I go straight in no errors. Did it twice to confirm.

The audio source that crashes is labeled "Headset Earphone (Arctis 7 Chat)". If I switch to just my monitor audio, no problems. Obviously this is a SteelSeries Arctis 7 headset, and interestingly there's also a different "Headphones (Arctis 7 Game)" choice they make available. This one DOES NOT crash the game.

So, if you're having this issue (especially if it's right after launch like mine) try changing around your audio source.

Just wanted to confirm that I had this issue and had the exact same fix...... couldn't believe it. DX11 wouldn't launch but DX9 would, swapped my arctis source to the game one, and it works now. bizarre.

Wtf!!! this worked for me too!!! crazy how this was happening because I happened to use the exact headset as everyone who had the problem had.

Still cannot run the game at all in directx11, it dumps direct to the desktop at login. In directx9 I have also crashed 3 times now when teleporting to/from major cities. I've done all the fixes I can find on Reddit and done a full uninstall/delete residual files/full reinstall and the problem persists

The update didn't fix the issue at all. I'm still having the error at launch. Though, funnily enough. I made a bit of a discovery. Along with the fact that I can still run the game with the error open, I turned on spatial audio for a moment, and the game refused to launch afterwards. Turning it off, allows me to play with the error, and no sound. Audio issue maybe?

They're never going to address this issue. Even popular streamers like Mr. Happy is having this issue. Not sure what it's going to take before they actually acknowledge this!!!
