Disconnect on attempt to enter Queue - 2002 Error

We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with server congestion on Final Fantasy XIV. Due to the recent early access period for Endwalker and the upcoming full release, we are experiencing an extremely high surge in player base which may result in long queue times and possible connection based errors. We are aware of this inconvenience and have addressed it in the following Lodestone post:

Thank you Darneltia for the reply, I am glad to hear they are working on it.

Please note in that reply they indicate the 2002 errors may be Wi-Fi issues of the users. As I noted above, I am on a direct ethernet DSL fiber connection. I believe the 2002 errors are on SEs side as many posts here support. I hope SE is doing more to fix this so when we can get in queue we won’t keep losing our spot in line.
