are on console and can't use macros. Dang, that hurts. So now I know why there is no way for me to enter my world :/ People just use some macros to idle afk for all day and just skip the queue. Needs be fixed >_<

I'd put a cap on an accounts daily playing time until the demand lessons, but I'm a total socialist so what would I know.
So your friends are helping cause the problem? Maybe you should tell them to stop being jerks and get offline so you can play.
I don't think more then 2% of the playerbase actually does these things, which means next time you have a 5k queue, i would be 4900, yea it would be less but ... its not the main problem we face. When you see Queues go up into the 10ks at times its just ... yea.
Well, I dunno on how many people are doing that exactly. And yea, I already told them that I do dislike it. But I mean this pretty much went crazy through the discords and stuff, so I actually believe it might be closer to 20% of the playerbase because it seems every PC-player I know is doing it right now. And actually, If there is a cap on how many people can be on a world simultaneously, this might have a rather large impact on queue times :/
If you spoke up, thank you for having the courage of your convictions. If your Discord "went crazy" as you said, either it speaks to how understandably frustrated and disappointed many people are, or (which i hope wasn't the case), how selfish some people are in not realizing that by staying logged in for 8, 10 or 12 hours it prevents some people from even one hour of time. As you said, each world has its capacity limit. Game isn't going anywhere, if we each share a bit of bandwidth then it won't hurt us.Well, I dunno on how many people are doing that exactly. SE really do need to do something about this. Sometimes I see people just standing around doing nothing for time I will come back like 2 hours later and they are still standing in the same place they was before.
Ppl trying to find a solution to their problem over a flawed system? Not wrong but it's definitely bannable. GMs can actually check on the activity of a player if it seems suspicious since macros work on specific time intervals and can become obvious to them. The ban hammer may come to macro users so if your friends get caught they can get banned anytime.

Not entirely true. Most macros let you do variable / random time frames between inputs.Ppl trying to find a solution to their problem over a flawed system? So I guess as a solution we would kinda need to "force lougout" people that are not actively playing and find a definition for who is doing so? Guess stuff like that would be rather hard or even close to impossible. I mean, is it ok if you idle afk because you got a phone call? Well I'd say of course it is! Is it ok to afk some because you are afk for a meal? Well, considering a meal is hardly ever longer then an hour and queue times are way longer, I'd say even this is fine. But being afk for hours on hours just so you can guarantee your place in the world when you come home from work or something else really seems wrong :/
However, it seems wrong being told "just play on PC!" as well - as if it is fine doing so as long as you have the technical way of doing so. Bah >_<
