There only so much the hamsters running the servers can do. If you didn't think this would happen you have been fooling yourself. Eventually the hamsters load will drop and it'll go better, its not the end of the world. Ya'll acting like karens when your coffee takes more then 10 second for the barista to make during a rush.

Stop playing during prime times, especially on the weekend. Do what I did and go to bed and play in the morning where there no one until lunch time.

The only fix for the queue errors is a programming change. I am going under the assumption that SE's networking developers are trying to figure out a better solution and if they can find out, they'll add it into the first big bug fix patch they release.

Lengthening the time of IP reservations, more graceful error handling, a longer time to accept the server's handshake back - small tweaks like that could fish the issue with the queue closing and restarting.

Constant DCing?
we PAY to play this game, AND pay for cash shop.
It would be different if it were a free to play microtransaction game, but no, we have to pay a monthly fee.
Even WoW, with all it's problems, never keeps players off it's servers for THIS long.

and no, 7 days of game time is NOT enough to make up for this.

I can't believe I PAID for this game and am not allowed to play.

With all the money you made from the great WoW migration, you could of EASILY upgraded your servers before launch. hell, you delayed the launch to make sure the game was ready, why weren't more servers/bandwidth added? that's part of a game being added.

They been having a hard time getting servers and for the Karen talking about Cloud Servers if you scroll down since no one likes to research they talk about cloud servers https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/443994
