    Compensation question

    They said they would compensate us with 7 days of a sub but there are also additional options that people pay for. Currently the time that I paid for 9 retainers is being wasted as well, not just the sub. Are they going to include this lost time as well? I've been trapped in que all day now.

    Yeah, I'm the one who posted it.
    They didn't make this announcement until 48 hours after the original announcement of compensation that didn't include additional options.
    In other words, when I replied to you, the answer was no.

    Can start class action lawsuit against SE. I read lawsuits has happened to other companies for same reasons as here. Not being able to play when your paying a sub. Its like your paying for netflix and getting put on a long queue to watch a show. They better fix problem soon.

    We are on the 5th day of people not being able to log in. You are not being reimbursed your time, let alone compensated, because people are still not able to play.

    I think it's time we get more vocal about our consumer rights.

    I don't understand people's reactions to kneejerk and auto scream LAWYER!!!!

    There are so many things happening that we don't know about, though Yoshi-P is being more transparent than any other company I know of with issues happening.

    Maybe it's because I'm older and have seen stuff break after so many years. I'm just like .. whelp that sucks. It's a game. Even in the EULA it says that there may be times where players can't reach the servers to play (ad lib here). I'm annoyed too. I can maybe get 2-3 hours in a day then nothing until the next day.

    If you are looking at it calmly. SE didn't implement any plans for growth on NA/EU servers. They provide the most hardware to JP servers who on average have lower world population. A new OCE centre will most likely benefit JP worlds since unofficial OCE is JP. They were taking a wait and see how players suffer approach to expanding NA/EU hardware, or you could say profit increase. This all happens before we even get to Blizzard/COVID situation. Also the gamers on here are very strange and have an undescribable feeling toward devs. Any other game that I have seen released on steam or elsewhere with this kind of service would just get savaged. It doesn't matter how much is within devs control, if game doesn't play you get a ratings down.
