This may well have been posted about before, but I just now noticed - mob XP from Levequest kills is determined by anyone in your party, regardless of this person's location. I went through 5-6 mobs before I noticed that I wasn't getting XP, and discovered it was because of the level 37 I was partying with who was sitting in their Inn Room in Gridania.

As a side extension - are there any plans on fixing a lot of the anti-party gameplay mechanics that are currently in place? Perhaps I was unusual, but I was usually in a 2-person party at some point or another with a friend or two in FFXI, just as kind of a "sub-linkshell" chat environment, but XIV has made it incredibly inconvenient to do this. The instant anyone starts to quest or, apparently, Levequest, there are issues. It'd be nice if instances didn't conflict with parties, and just automatically left out non-party members. Are there plans to implement this at some point in time (prior to 2.0)?
