I think it'll just upset people more than they already are. Best not to throw gasoline on a dumpster fire.

I mean it did absolute wonders during SB. SB was about as impenetrable in the initial few days 'cause people were exploiting the retainer bell/hud layout bug (remember? housing interiors couldn't be accessed because they were so full of people cheesing).
Though, It was every few hours I believe, not daily.
But, this would all depend on whether or not this congestion is caused by a significant amount of exploiters, or if the servers are mostly filled with genuine players, and the tradeoffs that come with hammering the login servers with all the people wanting to get in AS WELL AS all of the people who were already in who want to get back.
I do think it's something they should be looking into though, just 'cause it worked so well back then.
~sigh~

I'd imagine that most people playing right now are players trying to maximize their playtime. Sure, some are probably attempting to exploit the system by keeping themselves logged in by interacting with stuff, but that's probably a small number. Most people just want to log in and actually play. So no, I don't see it actually being beneficial. There's far too many trying to log in right now for such a measure to matter.I mean it did absolute wonders during SB. I share the feeling that it's more likely that the exploiter problem isn't as bad as it was during SB launch, but I do still think they should investigate the possibility of it being a solution. Just in case.I'd imagine that most people playing right now are players trying to maximize their playtime. I also think this might be due to a lot of people who aren't totally AFK, but who aren't really committed to anything and are too afraid to log out while they're doing other.... life-maintenance things. (cooking, eating, showering, chores, etc) If the queues can be just a bit less daunting, we might see a more healthy flow of people in and out of the servers.

There are people massively exploiting man. There are people in these very forums boasting about staying logged on for days and using anti AFK tools. So yes they should do daily resetsI mean it did absolute wonders during SB.
