    We are the customers. We all paid for a product. We all pay a subscription to play this product. Forgive us all for saying that SE is not delivering fully on that product. When people can't log into this game for 2 or more days that is literally throwing away money. No one has time for that shit. And just in case you want to throw out that Bulls**t of they gave us free time. That is over now and gone. So SE is taking free money from people yet again. And what is the use for free time when some people can't even get into the game to make use of that free time anyways.

    Acting like SE ruined their life and wants them to suffer.

    You guys had your time on WoW, I even played with friends here and there. But trashing another game, making it look like utter garbage just to make a point of you guys wanting a fight for no reason. The customer isn't always right, I learned that working as a chef for years, and even retail.

    And to be honest, you guys are even lucky you got compensation at all. Other game companies wouldn't have done that.
    Maybe you could do us the favor and stop logging on so others could? No? Must be because you want to play the product you paid for too huh?

    So from what I am being told by many people in game, SE knew of the server congestion wayyyyy before Covid even started. Now with that bit of info they should have upgraded and installed new servers way before then. A responsible company would have had things ordered and supplied for back up just in case their game took off on a rollercoaster. No matter how we want to word it, SE did not prepare and take into consideration any of this. Which on their part that is poor poor management.

    Also from what I being told SE also knew of their server issues wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back in Stormblood. Again that points back to above where I mentioned they should have had servers ordered and ready for just in case things picked up like they did now. I am sorry, but no amount of 'White Knighting' can fix their F ups.


    EDIT.....I am not a professional in servers and how they work. But what I do have is a lot of friends who do work in that type of business and deal with it on a 8 to 10 hours basis daily. I could explain more but I don't want to type all that up. I am just being told SE has ways around it all if they choose to give up the money to do it.

    People are going to complain because they have legimate reasons to complain. It's mind-boggling how anyone in their right mind can still defend this absolute shitshow that you call a launch. And for the people that say

    "wait a week, it will get better"

    It has not gotten better. It won't get better this month, or probably next month either.

    Now, I understand patience is a virtue, but this is ridiculous. Nothing more aggravating than getting 2002'ed when you've been waiting hours and ending up at the back of the que. I guess at this point, only thing left to do is either 1. Come to the forums and complain or 2. Unsub for an indefinite period of time.

    Honestly, we didn't have an issue really until Blizzard imploded, pissing on it's fanbase and cause a mass migration to other games. It had a minor queue of like 28 people but only last maybe a minute max before you got in. Not the fault of Ex-WoW players mind you, but nobody expected FFXIV population to explode of the past few months.

    You are correct. I am 17 year WoW player. I am super glad that I found FFXIV through a friend. Love it a lot. But man o man these ques and "Error 2002" are quite a bit. But at the same time, I don't SE knew they were going to pick up millions of players in literally 6 months either. But Blizzard turning into a bunch of Booty grabbers is not any gamers fault at all.

    I have been playing since 1.0 and had never seen these 2002 errors until Endwalker. Perhaps EU has if they had larger queues? From what I could tell, this 2002 has only become an issue when the login queues have become stressed to this point. That's not to say I am excusing the 2002 error, though they have done several maintenances to try to work on it.
