Off topic. How to change the forum layout back to mobile? Apparently pressed a button somewhere on accident. Layout changed to desktop.

I don't mind queues.
I mind netcode so terrible that you have to babysit said queue because it boots you even on a wired connection every 10-30 minutes. And said random crashes will fling you to the back of the line if your turn comes up during one of those crashes.
That's not queuing. That's garbage login server code. I have better things to do than hover around my computer for half the day while it thinks about maybe letting me in if the coin flip doesn't boot me out the moment I hit the head of the line. That's not "instant gratification". That's expecting a line to behave like a line, and service you when you've waited your turn.
It's like this for literally every single MMORPG that has ever launched. Give it a week and the threads will disappear, I feel for the people stuck in queue but honestly their bitching isn't going to magically make new servers or fix the problem.

From what I've been experiencing based on observation with these errors that I came across some consistency, and I really do believe it is something do with this expansion.
1) I get 90006 errors out of a Primal's arse whenever I was in Zone 5, and less so in Zone 4. Zone 1-3 seem oddly fine for whatever reason, and the Endwalker dungeons seem to have this problem too.
2) Whenever I'm outside of EW everything seems completely fine.
3) I hardly get errors though if I do my Duty Finders inside of a Inn (why this happens I have no idea) except for PVP matches.
This is all just guessing work that maybe EW areas is unstable besides the congestion? Idk, its just weird things I noticed.

The only reason servers are acting up right now is because of SE's greed. Period. They didn't upgrade the servers in the past, knowing full well they WILL expect problems on launch in the future, "fixing" 2002 error conveniently right after early access was over. I dont want to hear anything about so called chip shortages or whatever. Other companies find ways to rent servers even if they cost more than usual. If SE truly cared about your experience first and money second, they would do something about it: either rent more servers in advance or atleast test your already existing servers to prevent potential errors, and we all know they can do it, it's not a small indie company with limited resources and unexperienced professionals; instead, they decided to not cut their budget in hopes of potentially getting more money and saving some in the log run. Just admit they f'ed up and move on. Those companies don't care about you and no amount of cringy crying on streams and what not won't change that fact.
How people choose to defend this dick move from SE is beyond me. We truly live in a society, huh?

The level of congestion was hard to foresee prior to the surge in players this year.
The 2002 error was not. It has existed since 2.0. They waited until the situation escalated drastically, nearly 10 years later, to decide it was time to do something about it.

Fantastic bait thread, well done!

Did I just read this statement correctly?? I damn near fell out my bed laughing.
Sir/Ma'am this company does not care about you. They just want your money for playing their game. Tell me, does SE pay your rent, your bills, buy you groceries, get you your necessities. Please for the love of God stop your White knighting for them. It is making me vomit.
We are the customers. We all paid for a product. We all pay a subscription to play this product. Forgive us all for saying that SE is not delivering fully on that product. When people can't log into this game for 2 or more days that is literally throwing away money. No one has time for that shit. And just in case you want to throw out that Bulls**t of they gave us free time. That is over now and gone. So SE is taking free money from people yet again. And what is the use for free time when some people can't even get into the game to make use of that free time anyways.
