    Look at the state of the forums.

    I love how all these new people who have come into FFXIV wanting to play it, IMMEDIATELY dump on a company they really don't even know. All I see is a bunch of Karens getting pissy because oh, hey, a queue time. I get it. EU servers should have been upgraded. I feel for EU. But the way you guys are screaming "Waaah, I want a refund and compensation." This is why companies don't give a crap anymore.

    This is completely asinine. Has anyone even stopped to consider how the company feels? trying to deliver a fantastic game/product to all these ungrateful children screaming and crying. I get it, WoW died. Sorry, no one foresaw that coming, especially so soon before the Endwalker drop.

    You all need to grow up, and realize crap happens. And maybe try to I don't be considerate. But that's asking too much for all the influx of new people coming in. Already guard up, ready to strike with "lawsuits" and ready to bite anyone's head off just for defending a game and a company, people like me and idk 4M other players that have been playing consistently for years since 2013, hell even 2011 when 1.0 dropped.

    You guys had your time on WoW, I even played with friends here and there. But trashing another game, making it look like utter garbage just to make a point of you guys wanting a fight for no reason. The customer isn't always right, I learned that working as a chef for years, and even retail.

    And to be honest, you guys are even lucky you got compensation at all. Other game companies wouldn't have done that.

    This is a company, a business, offering a service, that you're talking about.
    This is not your friend, they are not a colleague, or a partner, or even a bystander.

    People are allowed to be unhappy with a service, and complain about a company providing said service, when it is not meeting expectations. As much as you want them to get over their frustrations, you really need to get over them having frustrations.

    Ok, and as I can tell, they HAVE provided the "product" you guys are screaming for. Are they supposed to be clairvoyant? See into the future? Last I checked, people aren't clairvoyant. So, pray tell what have they NOT provided? They explained what was going on a while ago. No one reads though. Last I checked not really any stability issues when I WAS on. And yes, I will be a fanboy for a company that actually cares. Not my fault everyone else just rolls in, and expects perfection when people are not perfect. Humans are fallible. Last I checked, game developers aren't gods? But, yes, bash me for fanboying for a game and a company I love and have supported FOR YEARS. It's ok for everyone to fanboy, but, when someone else does it, it's a crime. So, again, tell me, what have they NOT provided? Other than entitled selfish people caring about only THEIR play time, I still see the product they promised, not their fault there's a shortage, and I don't know a 6 month to a year wait list. And go look up the prices to rent game servers right now. That's the people you need to be screaming at, not people making a video game and doing the best they can. But, none of this matters cause everyone only sees hate now, and only screams and cries when they don't get what they want. I'll gladly wait in queue for a game I love. I don't complain about the wait, cause hey, at least I CAN play. It's not like they charged you and then shut everything down and said ok, bye!

    And they have that right, but, I still see a product they promised, not their fault other games flopped and everyone is flocking here last minute. They're not clairvoyant. Ease up. This is why companies half-ass everything now, and you guys just scream harder at them.

    "Leave alone that multi million dollar company" -- Team 2 isnt the only part of Square Enix. People are familiar with the company.

    Well its people with legit complaints vs white knights who excuse everything SE/yoshi p does.

    Imo this isnt the first rodeo here, they should have known better seeing how arr launch was and the the subsequent launches were. Pure greed to not upgrade server tech all these years and now we see the end result.

    Square is handling the situation well. They understand and have told us they're aware of our problems, they've apologized, and offered free game time to make up for this launch being rough. Not to mention warning us for months leading up to this situation. I feel like the only thing they could have done would be to delay the game longer (possibly much longer) until they could get more servers. And honestly, id rather fight with the queue then wait another 6 months for launch =/. Thats just me though, maybe you feel different, and thats ok too.

    Its ok to be upset as a customer. Its ok to still love the game. Its not ok to say other peoples opinions are invalid just because they're not the same ones you have.

    So here is the thing. Many of us not only bought one license but three. I bought two, a PS5 and PC license. There is a potential for Apple as well. I have been in four queues after being dumped from the system and then get an error for 2002 then being started over at over 4,000. I don't mind the queue but I expect to eventually get in to the game. I paid money which means I bought an expected service. This is early access not even the release date and I cannot even log in? The traffic that is clearly visible to Square Enix, you know like licenses sold is expected simply due to those who paid. Free to play does not even have access to Endwalker so what is the issue? If you are okay with paying for a game that you cannot play that is on you. I have a life plus have a snipet of time to game...meaning I expect to get access at least once per day. Is that to much to ask?
