This is to prevent people like you from crawling down the developer's throats when unprecedented things (e.g. Endwalker Launch having unknowable amount of players) happen that prevent them from playing the game. This is also what allows them to lock out people who break the rules, without worrying about retribution in the form of a lawsuit.
Unless you're a newborn baby, you should know how MMOs work. They're live services, subject to the issues that come with something being live.
Wow, you're condescending tone is super helpful, I guess you think you're just above it all.

They should make it that people who haven't been able to log in for literal days get priority in the queue. So that that some players at least get to play at some point. They can go by the tracker they already have in-game where you can see when a player has last logged in.
I haven't been able to play in around two days now, and it's getting frustrating.
I started playing in ARR, played early access in all expansions so far, and this one has by far felt the worst so far. I know it's because of unprecedented player numbers, and we just have to put up with it, but it would be nice for those who have literally not been able to play at all, to be allowed in.
Also, maybe do a forced logout of those who have been logged in for over 24 hours, to get rid of those pesky AFK dancers, and those staying logged in while afk using macros, or bots, or w/e it is they are doing. If you have been playing legit for over 24 hours, well, it might be best you log off and get a little bit of shut-eye anyway :P

I just can't be upset cause other players are able to get in and enjoy the game. I would be as well if I made it in more than one time, lol.
Hopefully, I can join my fellow fantasy fanatics soon...including my fc.
Not necessarily true. Given to aquire early access you have to pre-purchase the game, there by locking in a sale prior to the game going very date. You pay early to get benefits...of which you cannot use with the current situation.
Square Enix is giving you 7 days of sub for free, so this completely invalidates your attempt to deflect and blame it on your sub time.

You're getting a week compensation back, therefore not losing anything. If it gets past a week, then your argument is valid. As of right now, your sub is on Square.

And that is true, if the servers are still a problem beyond a week then it is time lost again, but since the population isn't going to vanish in a week I think this will be an ongoing problem for a while, and probably during each major patch release as well.
