Square please for the love of FF14, fix your login/load servers

So far Endwalker has been a great experience. The only problem we face is the login boss. This is normally fixed by improving the 'hardware' on the servers that handle login/loads. Hope SE is still not using the same login servers they were back in 1.0/2.0.

Just fix the 2002 error, its fine when it saves your spot, but when your sub 500 and then it 2002's you, you log back in and its instant 2002 for 5min then you finally get past that and your back to 4000 in queue.

If it makes you feel better, I can't even have a good chance at actually TRYING to log in because of my demanding work schedule. I'm legit screwed because they have me come in at 6 am and stay until 3 pm because 'someone's gotta take care of the customers since we don't wanna do it.'

Looking at people's queue times from 12pm onwards, it's like Rhaubahn went straight from Hard to Unreal difficulty.

Or, just drop us back to the start screen on a 2002 error, instead of exiting the game and making us log in again.
Did one thing that helps: Running the software token on my PC screen via Samsung DEX, so all I need to do is click it for a fresh authenticator number instead of unlocking the phone each time. It will even let me copy the number into my clipboard. (Not sure I can paste it though, since I just got through the error and now waiting on a 4297 queue.

As to you answer, yes they are still using the same hardware from when FFXIV became ARR, and due to the lockdowns and travel restrictions and a few other things its been nearly impossible for Square to upgrade ANY hardware.

ya do know the lockdowns start after shadownbringers/5.0 went live, which is 3 expacs later from ARR, so about 6-7 years. So you can't use the lockdowns as a excuse.

The 2002 error is my only complaint at the moment. We expect server congestion, but at least let us keep our place in line to get into the server.

After many many 2002s, long queues of 5k+, some of which get reset after coming back from a 2002 error, etc, etc, I was finally able to login at 11 pm PST. I played until 3 am, then logged my main toon out, so I can try logging a secondary character in. Lo and behold, the queue was 20, I was in the game in less than 5 minutes. Conclusion: if you can, sleep first, then login at 3 am your time, and hope it’ll be as empty on that server as it was for me.
