log-in observation

During my many frustrating attempts to log in to the game there 1 thing that I have observed and would be grateful if others can confirm or deny its validity. Whenever I can get past the data center select screen and enter character selection if is no character data shown I will eventually be booted with a 2002 error. If I have full character data shown (such as for the last 90 minutes) I will not. Can others confirm this observation. With all due respects to Yoshi-P whether you are using an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi appears to haver no effect on whether you get a 2002 error.

I can't confirm this as 2002 happens even with character data loaded.

I got 2002'd while the character data was showing. I don't think it really matters.

I have been 2002 with my character and managed to get in while there was no character data

No character data, started at over 7k in queue. Now at 3914 so will advise after this.

It's probably just coincidence, but the one time my character data did load in all my attempts yesterday it managed to avoid the 2002 error for about 4 hours and made it over 7000 spots in the queue. All my other login attempts were getting the 2002 error between 1k-2k spots moved in line.

It's now 22:15 where I am and just as I'm ready for bed after trying to log on since 16:30, I am having no error 2002. Magical isn't it. Square are lying a lot, I actually am almost at a point where I prefer blizz over square, at least they just give you radio silence. Even that is better than deceit. All the crying and crap from the 'lord' yoshi, is all a ploy to keep people worshiping him. Nah fam, i dont play them games, I am calling BS on everything.

My character data hasn't shown on the login screen since patch drop, and I've never received 2002.

I do use ethernet though.

I'm on ethernet, No issues logging in around 7 AM (Eastern time), but lots of 2002's 1600-1700 today, and I've not seen character data load since the start of the patch.
