Alt Quest Exp Scaling

PLD Level 70, requires 2.9 mil exp for next level
DRG Level 73, requires 3.3 mil exp
SGE Level 78, requires 4.77mil exp
Sch Level 80, 5.9mil

Scaleable quest in Raktika Greatwoods
PLD reward 54k
DRG reward 55k
SGE reward 56.8k
SCH 57.2k

That hardly seems like proper scaling on ShB content does it... Pretty useless for levelling alt jobs.
Checked SGE in Ondo Cups and same exp for these "Scaleable" quests...

Were alt quests always this miserable for exp? I would like to do something other than grind FATE/Bozja or re-run dungeons but at the rate you accumulate xp doing side quests it would take a week to do what can be done in 2-3 days doing fates/dungeons.

Update
Just got to Sharlyan and did a sidequest with lvl 80 SGE and got 168,300 exp.

That is a HUGE jump from level 78 xp but the required XP to level has not gone up 3x.

This seriously needs to be addressed as these scaled ShB quests cannot be correct now, it makes no sense.

They were always pretty miserable, tbh.

The quest xp was always a bit low for me personally, so if I ever wanted to get a job from 70 to 71 or some other hurdle I just hit the shared fates in amh areng or kholusia. I might try playing through them all just to see what is what with the actual stories there, but the few I did do were mostly spur of the moment pick ups because they were in the area and I felt weird not just doing it to get the marker off the map

Side quest XP has always been on the low side, around 2-3% of a level per quest (if doing them at level, or if they're a scaling quest). They aren't intended as a primary method for leveling alt jobs.
