It's astonishing that even though it's about a half week since launch and SE has no obligation to, they gave everyone a week of free game time to make up for the issues - and it *still* wasn't enough to please people. With some of these peeps' self-entitled ranting, I'd rather they went back to WoW (saying this, as it reminds me a lot of that community).

This. People are making excuses for SE fumbling this because the game is actually good.. and I love this game and their products usually. But game time for a game you can't play is pretty much a total waste. I paid for the sub and the Expansion already. They need to fix the errors first and foremost... the queue is horrific but its basically an unplayable game for most people due to 2002/4004 errors. I would bet most of the complaints were drop off if you actually could manage to play without logging in at 4am and finding some way to not get logged out.

I assume you're talking about me, since you quoted me. I never played WoW, so there's that. I asked a legit question. If there's a chip shortage, and they cannot get servers, how will this work itself out unless enough people leave that the current servers can still handle it. I can find other things to do, I'm not going to obsess over a game, but the points I bring up aren't any less valuable. I see the point of the original post I made eluded you.
