This is a valid point. Being on a software team myself I will say that often times the people with the knowledge of how bad things might be don't get to make the decisions. I don't think Square is blameless in this, but I doubt the dev team had much if any say in it
At the same time, Yoshi P can leverage say on it and chooses not to. He can remind them of 1.0 and tell them I can let your ass go bankrupt and end up at another studio. Those bean counters are worthless to the company.

I agree with what you said....except the part that how could they know. I bought two licenses...they know by who purchased Endwalker.

From what I've heard, JP servers are doing just fine. This is a sad experience. I work all day to come home, try and relax to pay for a game I cannot log into at all. I see everyone complaining, and they have a right too!
What was the point of pre-order early access?
also interesting how the main servers with problems are the NA/EU ones.
Because JP has more capacity than they could possibly fill. 80% of their space is unused
If there's a chip shortage, and they "tried" to get servers, but they couldn't, then how will this get better? After enough people leave the game and the current servers can handle who is left?
It's astonishing that even though it's about a half week since launch and SE has no obligation to, they gave everyone a week of free game time to make up for the issues - and it *still* wasn't enough to please people. With some of these peeps' self-entitled ranting, I'd rather they went back to WoW (saying this, as it reminds me a lot of that community).
