And we keep telling them, it does that already. Every single time I got 2002'd today I log back in, queue again and find myself in the same spot as before I got 2002'd. The system needs to be more reliable and the grace period longer, believe you me I agree there, but it is getting so very tiring to see people talk as if it isn't there at all.I don't think the OP is being unrealistic about what they want. Realistically speaking, the problem is not having to wait on a queue for hours, it is having a connection error and losing your spot and having to go back to the end of the line. I have lost track of the disconnects due to this today, and it has gone for 5 hours.
We all understand they cannot improve server capacity, but saving queue spots is not unrealistic. Ths should solve many of the issues people are having. 7 days, while appreciated, does little if for the next 4 days, I am going to experience the same thing. It doesn't feel like a compensation, but instead more like "we know you won't be able to play these next few days, so we won't charge those days".
I think the developers have been extremely nice in letting people know the challenges they have had, but they should also offer temporary solutions while they wait for new servers.
Such is the way of instant gratification. A horrible power that calls upon the darkness and transforms one into a terrible beast...known as a Karen...or Kyle. /sweepAnd we keep telling them, it does that already. It may be there SOMETIMES, but it is not always there. I got to players in queue 1. 2002 error happened. I logged in again as quickly as possible - within 10-15 seconds + the time for the logos to flash. Got hit with a lobby error. Tried again, got in - Spot in line? 4000+.
Maybe, just maybe, you stop talking about how "it's already there!" when it is NOT a guarantee?
Maybe you should read my entire post, hmm? Particularly that part where I literally said that it needs to be more reliable and the grace period longer, eh?Except you're wrong.

Wow....you really are unreasonable.I don't accept that answer, why? Because they said nothing about it. They tell us everything else, yet they don't even mention this issue.
So in other words, unless they come out and tell us why the system they have now can't be changed. I'm going to assume they are incompetent.
Just told you what you want is already there, and you are still unhappy.
And they mentioned the Issues.....but they never mentioned it can't be changed.
So what exactly are you Mad about again?
Losing your place in the que and not getting a grace period to get your spot back? - Already there. I just told you about it, and so has another.
They Didnt Mention the Issue? - Yes they Did. Are you keeping up with the Newsfeed?
They need to tell you why the system can't be changed? - When did they say it couldn't? You pull this out of thin air or is there somewhere you can link?
At this point, it sounds like you just want to be Mad for the Sake of being Mad.
Not discounting the frustration that there is an error happening during Que Wait time, but to sit here and call them Incompetent over things out of their control is just nonsense.

At first i did not know it was around because the launcher took so long and gave errors also, i never made it back in time. Only when I switch to the mod launcher was I able to safely get through fast. (not sure if normal launcher is fix now.)
I had that a few times yesterday, getting 2002'd like 4 times in a row, I will admit at that point I did decide to go do something else myself, because I knew with 3 or so restarts of the game that my spot in the queue was pretty much gone. Hence why I do agree it needs to be both more reliable and give you more time to get back in. It isn't a constant for me though, today I was able to get back in swiftly after every 2002 and kept my spot until I got in.
The rest of your post doesn't erase the dismissive and superior nature of "We keep TELLING them it's THERE."
It isn't there if it isn't there consistently, so maybe don't?
