Honestly if the errors didnt exist it wouldnt be so bad everyone came into endwalker expecting ques especially anyone who's played mmos in the past. What i dont understand is all the white knighting going on. People can and should be unhappy about the situation and voice that even thou some go to the extreme. I get you love the game but remember it is that. Sometimes gaming companies need that especially these days i feel like gaming companies get away with murder. Ff has some of the best devs so not dissing. I myself cannot play during the weekdays due to work. I neck bearded last weekend to get as much time in as i could. I just bought a few other games to play until this is fixed. It did aggravate me that they recruited b4 lauch. Offering story skips and job boosts while new world and wow was going through their craziness was a bad decision. The new players were definitely felt duty groups have been wild when i could play. Noone should have to adjust their life to play thats just absurd. Any thats my voice on it. Wish everyone well and maybe we'll see each other in Eorzea sometime lol

I would suggest you take your replies over to Reddit. The FFXIV community there takes opinions very maturely. No White Knighting over there. The community takes both opinions, good & bad, and responds very very well.

You want to say sorry? How about if we get dced in the game, give us 5 mins to log back instead of putting us in a queue? Or better yet, make it if we get dc out of a queue give us longer time to get back in, for our spot.

The extra 7 days you can stick that where the sun don't shine. It means very little when you understood this was going to happen, but did not make it any easier on us.

I support this message. The amount of white knight SJW's standing up for the company is laughable. FF14 received an insane amount of money from the WoW refugee migration, a record breaking preorder, saw this long queue issue coming for months, yet decided to do nothing.
The people pipping in like they are in "the know" regurgitating the stale semi conductor shortage knows nothing. They are simply repeating what they have been told. Its all supply/demand. The semi conductors aren't nonexistent. They are just crazily expensive due to demand and they don't want to spend the money for the overpriced hardware.

Neither do I, because I love sitting in queue for hours playing for 10 minutes getting a fatal direct x error and back in line I go, double the queue number this time.

How there are no grace periods in an instanced game with different roles is beyond me.

'Agree with me or you're a corporate shill' is not exactly the most reasonable take either. Which is pretty much all that a lot people seem capable of coming up with in lieu of real arguments. An almost petty sounding 'why do you keep trying to argue with me you should be as angry as i am'.

I'll say what I've already said plenty often these last 6 days: People are allowed to disagree with you. People are allowed to have a different opinion on something. They don't have to agree with you just because we're all customers in the same boat, especially not when more often than not the people being angry about this are coming off horribly in their posts, with astronomically bad takes and usually a stand-offish attitude from the start.

I'm staying neutral, but the only thing I'll say is that both sides are equally in the wrong when it comes to the arguments here.

-Players are perfectly entitled to be satisfied with the game despite the queues. There's no reason to go hurling insults like "white knight" at them. They've chosen to support the company and trust SE based on their overall experience, they're a satisfied customer.

-Players are also perfectly entitled to be angry that the product they paid for doesn't meet their expectations. There's no reason to call them "cry babies". SE is a business, it doesn't matter if they warned us or can't avoid it, if the customer isn't happy with their product it's on them. They aren't entitled to sales, sales are a privilege. They even recognize this, hence the 7 days gametime, efforts to acquire more servers and multiple maintenances.

Arguing with each other doesn't gain anything.
