I was there to experience the stormblood disaster and memes, and now there's probably five times as many people playing with no new servers being added thanks to the chip shortage.
Honestly what were people expecting?
I'm guessing this is many people's first rodeo of major mmo updates.

I'm still trying to figure out what a chip shortage have to do with not being happy I have to babysit a queue timer, and getting dc in game puts you in queue.


Is this chip shortage thing what people tell themselves to feel better about this?

Servers require hardware to upgrade and expand, without the required hardware made with certain components you can't upgrade or expand your servers. I work for an Electronics Manufactauring company, we have certain parts that have a lead time of August 2023. The part shortages ARE real.
