i love the irony of people going this perosn is child or not a grown up the op made valid points. this is the only expansion that has been this how would i know i've been playing even since the beta and this is the only one that they have given compensation like this do your research please. would not have expected such a rude and hateful response from fellow ff14 players. sure disagree, but saying "Don't let the door hit you on the way out", is absouletly disgusting and much worse than what you guys are accusing the op of doing. if you use terms like karen you need to grow up and evaluate yourself using that term is extremely childish.

I dont really defend corporations but it been stated they had server problems way before EA. Hardware been crippled by the pandemic, chip shortage and the cypto farmers, so it not easy to upgrade atm.

It is better to say they is sorry and give 7 days than some devs being smug and gaslighting the player base that it fine and just be quiet.

They are a multi-million dollar corp, they can afford some servers even at inflated prices due to chip shortages.

You realize the more people complain they will implement the next measure to address the situation and that will be random rolling server restarts daily to kick all the afk players who are bypassing the afk kick. Then it will be queue hell all over again.

There aren't any all day afkers this time, unless they have an elaborate visual basic script that has them quoting Shakespeare in say to their retaining bell or running in a square inside the inn room every five minutes.
