This is what being a Gamer does to you.

				Popcorn anyone?!
Some people on some servers get tossed out of the queue and then it takes multiple tries to even get back to it thanks to other errors kicking them/not letting them log in. When that happens the spot in queue is lost. This is a more common occurrence than seems to be generally recognized. There may well be a grace period in place. I am not disputing that. That grace period is useless in it's current state with so many having sequential log in failures.
Obviously this needs to be sorted out. My take on YoshiP's post today is they are taking a look at it to see what can be done on their end to fix it. The only thing I can offer in the meantime is my encouragement to those suffering from the mess and the suggestion to as much as you can manage play in off peak times.
I manage to play a few hours all 3 days so far by logging in during off peak.

Ive been fortunate that after I just sit through the wait-time to log in, everything is smooth sailing. Some people on some servers get tossed out of the queue and then it takes multiple tries to even get back to it thanks to other errors kicking them/not letting them log in. I do get a few hiccups and 2002 D/C errors while in Que, but its usually like once or 2 times. I restart and Im still in the same spot as the D/C.
When the Game Officially launches, I think it will be be worse for a little bit. But as Ive said, this is typical, every Expansion release is pretty bad, but within the month it clears up. And the Que time drops significantly and everyone can play.

You should consider to get some serious help if this annoys you so much.Your answers was unacceptable. The 7 days extra is not going to make me feel better.
You want to say sorry? How about if we get dced in the game, give us 5 mins to log back instead of putting us in a queue? Or better yet, make it if we get dc out of a queue give us longer time to get back in, for our spot.
The extra 7 days you can stick that where the sun don't shine. It means very little when you understood this was going to happen, but did not make it any easier on us.
Also, seeing the replies already, At least I get my money worth calling out this community.
I feel bad for your sad life![]()
If you are not experiencing any of the issues that the OP is experiencing, I'm glad you're having a good time with Endwalker. I truly mean it. It's frustrating to get disconnected out of the game or repeatedly 2002'ed from the queue until it resets your position, even within the 5 minute grace period. I really hope you never have to experience this.
I had a great two days of Endwalker. But today, I couldn't play at all. It started with my game crashing in a trial. I logged back in within 60 seconds of crashing. The game had to log me out to put me in a 4000 person queue. My party voted to abandon because I was one of the two tanks and the tank queue is particularly ferocious right now.
During my queue, I got 2002'ed at around 3500, which was fine. I requeued easily. At around 2500, I got 2002'ed again, and again, and again, and again, AND AGAIN until the game completely forgot I was in the queue at all. 3 minutes had passed out of the 5 allotted. My new position? 5000. I'm wired to a fiber internet connection, so unfortunately, WiFi is not to blame here.
I got a headache from the ordeal so I'm just going to sleep it off and go back to work tomorrow.

I agree with you OP. I expected them to solve the queue issue, not give us free game time. Free game time solves nothing. It is a way to silence people. Too much negativity around expansion release does nothing good to the overall image of the game.
Fixing the queue, on the other hand, will calm a lot of players. Knowing that once you log in, and get in queue, that your position is saved and you don't have to worry about it. Some games even show the expected minutes/hours for you to get into the game. So you can go on about your day without worrying about getting disconnected.

You aren't calling out anything and just look entitled. Any sane player should have expected this outcome with the servers, heck I was expecting worse.Your answers was unacceptable. The 7 days extra is not going to make me feel better.
