Frontlines will probably most likely be instancedAnd Frontlines as well, since it's Nations against Nation content. We don't really know much outside of what they told us, I'm sure they have it Balanced, but at this point we should wait for E3 its only a month away exactly from today.. we will have lots more information then.. ( and possibly before that too).
Once we have more information.. and more things come to light then we can speak our minds further.. because we already beaten down the old information to the Earth's Core XD lolz.

I would like a poll on peoples' preferences for open world vs. instanced. I agree with Jynx... they should ask us directly about this.
"Would you welcome changes to FINAL FANTASY XIV that would drastically alter the rules already set in Eorzea?" is extremely vague. It does not = "We will all welcome and love any changes made to the game, no questions asked!"
And yes, all the hate for Roki is childish. :\
Congrats on your third gold Roki. :3

The people who are arguing that the poll had loaded questions and that you can't infer the overall desires of the game's population are like the Obama birthers.
.... meaning instanced, an area that wont effect outside people=instance.
People do realize how much content in recent mmo's is instanced right? Hell in FFXI there were only like 4 events that were open world while the rest were instanced? IMO it's not so much the fact that content is instanced but it's how the content is presented to us. SE can clearly come up with more clever mechanics besides a "speed run" philosophy but they haven't yet. Gives us varied content and you'll have less complaints about instancing(however some light open world content would be nice but I prefer majority of serious stuff to be instanced)
I have to agree with this... I can't even argue with it.People do realize how much content in recent mmo's is instanced right? Shit server code is why we don't have more non-instanced content, and that should be taken care of by 2.0. I don't really see the benefits of instanced stuff in an MMO outside of specific storyline content, although I guess said benefits exist.

I don't care about instances really, its the party restrictions that suck.
So what if I'm gonna die, at least let me try it solo or even duo/trio. Why force 4-8 party members for all instances? Maybe I just want to do some farming in cutters or get an AF chest?
Also to the OP, you sound like someone's mom, the truth is we're paying customers so we can complain as much as we want when things suck XD
