How to disable right click from selecting things (acting like left click)?

I took a long break from the beginning of shadowbringers until now and since coming back I have been having a lot of problems with right click. I don't know what changed but it is constantly selecting things mid battle or just moving around. Normally right click would just be held down to turn your character and such while moving or to select alternate options in menus. It does this but now if the cursor happens to be over something or someone or even if the cursor WAS over something while its invisible being held down it will select that thing like I was left clicking it. This causes my targeting to change at random in combat and is very disorienting.

I have asked in game of friends and people at large, no one seems to have much of an idea of what I am talking about or how to change it. I have poured over keybinds and options and can't find anything that would seem to change it back to how it was. I'm starting to feel a little crazy here, I swear it didn't used to be like this. Does anyone else know what I am talking about and how to get it to go back to the way it was?

It's better forum practice for you to post what you did to solve your problem so that people in the future who find this thread in a search because they have your original problem don't have to start a new thread or necro the thread to ask what you did to solve your problem.
