Ok so what you think of it? I have to say it not Shadowbringers or heavenward. When ever they try to do a big war they make i look stupid. Like this time we go to finally attack the garlean but we can't kill no one as it be bad? And then they show how we even not kill no one? Is this a joke? Then they try to make it look sad when 2 girls we know nothing about get killed by the plot monster. But when they try to do the smaller story's or the political side it's nice.

I think the Sound was interesting when

it was speculated to either be a consequence of the Ancients abusing the power of creation or a subconscious manifestation of disatisfaction or unfulfillment product of the conflict free paradise (kinda like what the machines said was the reason why the original Matrix failed) that caused them to involuntarily create Nightmares, and incredible lame when it turned out it was caused by random super emo kid from space.

So far, I'm less than thrilled. I gained two whole levels doing almost nothing but talking to people, running errands, doing fetch quests, etc. The first dungeon was cool. The battle with Garlemald so far has been fairly 'meh' and doesn't feel like a war moreso than a collaboration of D&D parties fighting npcs.

The little MGS mini-game thing was fun and then I hit the assassin's creed-esque follow mission which I've failed 3 times so far and want to stop playing.

So far I'm very disappointed and hoping that I'm just around the corner from things spinning up and grabbing my interest again.

the only real time i got touched by the story was when doing the vanaspati (lvl 85) dungeon, like wtf was going on in there. children screaming after their mother while she transforms... and of course the lvl 90 trial, which was pretty epic

So far I think it beats all prior expansions + I love all the nostalgia trips back to 1.0 and FF4.

I'm still in disbelief that this is the payoff after so many years of the ascian plotline.

I just genuinely don't understand why instead they went this route, feels like pandering to niche tastes. For me it was such a huge miss that it ruined the magic of the whole game and I'm still super salty.

Also, after the level 85 dungeon, it seems like they completely forgot about what was the point of the expansion in the first place. That was the highest point of Endwalker. Sadly after that it falls HARD and never gets better.

One last thing... last dungeon is a huge miss, too. It's like Amaurot but predicable and soulless.
