Since SE is making a modicum of an effort to be thoughtful by proffering a free week, I'm going to give it a week and just bounce around my old save in Skyrim, maybe try to log into the game here and there if I have a lot of time to waste. If things haven't improved by then, then I'll be un-subbing from FFXIV and starting a new game in Skyrim and maybe come back in 4-6 months.
