With this said then apparently a huuuuuuuuuge portion of the player base needs to get special binned gpus and stuff in a world that that doesn't happen.... Yet why would they if no other game new and old doesn't run into the issues FFXIV runs into?

Refuse all you want but the game has some bad coding that cause issues and your "help" isn't doing any favors but spreading false information and potentially doing more harm than good.
I would suggest you stop and go do something more productive with your time like building pcs, working as tech support and doing all the research needed to become a proper support staff.
And yes I have had many years of troubleshooting software and hardware and even going as far as fixing gpu issues when a driver fails to recognize the bios on them.
So to tell me an API fatal error has occurred on 1 program is an instant flag for that program being the issue, and that needs looking at first and foremost by either AMD and Nvidia or Square Enix, or even all three need to open communication to try and fix where the issue stems from to patch it up.

But sorry .. I forgot that people here are not willing to accept that there's an issue to their precious game and I'm some kind of hater coming here to somehow trash a game I obviously hate to the point that I try and play it everyday for a few hours and fallen in love with the story.

All this nonsense is similar to when I played WoW and looking at the tech support forums there on patch day when people submit issues with the game... Just far more delusional here.

Yes, the game is a diva. But if it would be a general problem with "bad coding" then everyone would have problems.

I don't know why the game triggers some instabilities and other applications do not. There are some possibilities: the game triggers power supply issues, it triggers issues with (automatic) overclocking/CPU/GPU boosting, it triggers issues with bad memory modules, bad drivers etc.

And then there are other things that can affect the system stability. The AMD platform had for a long time issues with PCIe 4.x. Then they had issues with USB which caused problems with AR helms/glasses etc. To fix those issues you should always have the newest BIOS of your motherboard installed. Those issues are fixed with microcode updates for the CPU.

I was also affected by the PCIe 4.x issue and had crashes in FF14. I have switched to PCIe 3 in the BIOS and the crashes went away. Months later AMD published a new Agesa version and the PCIE 4.x issues were fixed.

This are issues which have nothing to do with the game.

    Cheers

The fact that this more got out of have with Endwalker releasing tells me it's something with what they did with the game and not so much the system
I used to run into DX11 errors more related to I think fullscreen mode but changing that had it run just fine.

I wouldn't have bothered initializing my forum account if this were still the case.
But also like I have said, some days it can run 12 hours no issues and some nights will crash 3-4 times in the span of a couple hours, even just sitting still.
Yet everything else is rock solid in performance.
I point my finger at the game and possibly the engine it runs on as it's not a very conventional engine because Enix.... is well... Enix and want to be engine makers in the most convoluted way. Their engine tools are really more catered to consoles rather than PC. Also getting a fix for broken mechanics for a SE game can sometimes take a miracle or just never happen... On PC that is. Case in point, Nier Automata PC had to be modded by the fanbase to fix the game.

Once again, all of the DX11 crash issues you are having is due to hardware faults. Several of us have explained this to you multiple times along with stating that the random nature of the crashes are also due to hardware faults. Not to mention having to reinstall your VIDEO DRIVERS is a sure sign of hardware faults and it doesn't matter AT ALL that everything else is "rock solid" for you. That is completely irrelevant and useless to keep stating because it means NOTHING. But hey, if you want to keep pointing fingers and blaming the game/engine/whatever else instead of the actual problem of faulty hardware because you don't want to admit that maybe, just maybe, your precious PC might have issues then more power to ya and keep doing it. Just don't expect any further help from people and don't expect the FF14 dev team to magically be able to fix your faulty PC either. At this point, you've only got two options....actually find and fix your faulty PC hardware or quit playing cause nothing else is gonna happen.

Well my "Faulty" PC is fine on EVERY THING ELSE
Interesting how when you look around tons of posts stating DX11 errors.... Obviously they must have broken systems too that somehow only have issues with 1 game?

So I don't expect anyone to "fix" my "faulty pc" as to if I contact ANYONE they will without a doubt point straight to the program and not the hardware. Even their own support staff suggests more software related fixes than pointing straight to the hardware first... how interesting that they even contradict you people claiming that a huge amount of people have "fault" hardware.

Once again it seems I must say this. It doesn't matter if your PC is "fine" with everything else! Stop saying that because it means absolutely NOTHING! Faulty hardware can 100% without a doubt be triggered by ONE single thing! Hell, I've known people who've had hardware issues being triggered just from YouTube videos and only them so it really doesn't matter AT ALL if everything else is fine! And yes, it is absolutely possible and almost certainly a fact that all the people with DX11 crashes have faulty/unstable hardware in their PCs. And again, it is entirely, 100% possible for only a SINGLE thing to trigger the faulty/unstable hardware!

Also, if these people you contact point at the game, they clearly don't know ANYTHING about PCs and shouldn't be trusted with any complex electronics! Also, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the forum support staff here aren't even proper support staff. They're just people that have been hired and given list of support responses to reply with in topics here. Or haven't you noticed the fact they only ever reply with the same responses and messages all the time to everyone? So you can't even use the official forum support staff here to support your false claims of it being the game at fault.
