Endwalker MSQ doesn't give enough EXP

I've been loving Endwalker. The story has been great and the gameplay changes has been really good. The problem I've had though is that I am not recieving enough EXP to even continue the story.
I am currently lvl 82 with my RDM, which is the job that I'm playing through the MSQ with. But my next quest is lvl 83 and I am unable to continue the story. Thus I am forced to grind up EXP just so I can get back on track. And this isn't the first time. I had the same issue when the guest lvl incressed from lvl 80 to 81, and 81 to 82.
I will however say that when the story split in to two quest lines - one in Sharlayan and one in Thavnair - I did play as AST for the Sharlayan questline. But I did get barenly enough EXP on my RDM so I just needed to do only 1 side quest. But as I am progressing, the EXP gap is getting longer and longer.
Am I the only one with this issue? Some members of my FC have had the same issue once at most, while others are playing though it with even a lvl above the quest level. It's a shame how this is my case as SE did say they were going to make it easier to progress the story smoothly with even 2 classes, and I can barely progress smoothly with 1

Are you skipping all the side quests? You are probably supposed to do most of them, and get xp from them.

playing as dragoon. leveling just fine with only MSQ.

Okay...they literally sprinkle side quests over you all the time. When you get to a new area and complete a few MSQ's, WHAM ! will pop upeverywhere. You get a good 150 to 250k EXP for some of these. If you complete the MSQ and side quests as you go, you'll be fine.

Sorry, not having an issue with exp, getting into the lvl 83 quests and I don't quite have my third class up to that to run those quests. first two are 85.

I may have come a little prepared beforehand, but between Khloe's book finished once and 2 roulletes of Trial and Normal Raids in the first day of EA I managed to be ahed of MSQ by 2 levels almost all the time. I realize grinding exp while doing MSQ isn't fun, but it's not that hard either.

I've levelled PLD to 84 so far by only doing MSQ with no issues on exp (if anything I'm slightly ahead of the current quest level). If you switched jobs in between then yes you will need to grind some exp to get to the point you would be if you hadn't. Make sure you have a food buff up, hit some FATE's (especially if they have exp bonus), do a dungeon roulette or two (or just run a trust dungeon a couple of times) and you'll easily get to where you need to be.

YoshiP already announced an apologize in jp lodestone, user already count that it start not getting enough at 86 then again 87 and more at 89, on total they give around 3-4 mil exp... people really shouldn't dismiss a misinformation given by dev just because it's yoshida... minor problem tho

I'm on the level 85 MSQ and have yet to have any problem with exp. Though I have been also doing the sidequests to unlock flying as I go so that does add a bit of exp.
