Game Keeps on crashing on cutscenes

I've been having this issue consistently after the endwalker update. So everytime there's an in-duty cutscene (no matter what kind of duty, solo or party) my game just crashed and closed itself. No error messages, nothing. I've tried running it on the lowest graphic possible, and it's still doing the same thing.
Example: If i get in to MSQ Roulette and i got Praetorium, the game crashes as there's an opening cutscene. I come back to the game and i'm still in duty. The party reaches the first boss: black loading screen for cutscene and crash. Repeat for the rest of duty.
Another example: In the Endwalker MSQ, there's a quest that throws you in to a solo duty. The map transition cutscene works, and i can control the character for that part of duty. But then when the playable part of that duty ended and a cutscene loading screen (black screen with spinning wheel one) shows up, the game crashes 2-3 seconds after.

I literally cannot proceed with the MSQ now. I'm stumped. I've tried lowering the graphic settings to the bare minimum, my drivers are fully updated, still the same.

I tried playing with directX11 turned off, still didnt work.

Update: okay, apparently it's something to do with directx11 after all. The second time i tried turning it off and switching to DirectX 9, the game worked.
The thing is, the performance of the game on DirectX 9 is absolutely abyssmal. Random stutters, frame drops, graphical glitches etc. Not to mention that my game crashed twice on that mode. Although this time i at least got an error message from it. Here it is:

I'm pretty sure this error has nothing to do with the one from directX 11, but who knows.

This same thing keeps happening to me. I tried DX9 and the game lags so bad. I have an 8700k and a 3070 GPU. Not sure what the issue is, but I hope it can get fixed. I get kicked either way and get screwed into the queue again.
