Better management?
This game has the best management I have ever seen and I played WoW when it was good. (Vanilla to WOTLK.)
You guys simply have to learn to accept things the way they are.
You were warned that there would be congestion.
You were explained to that world wide shortage of semi conductor chips was a thing.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020%E..._chip_shortage
What exactly do you want them to do? Go back in time so they could ask an astrologist for their fortunes and be told that there was going to be a global shortage on these chips because of a pandemic?
You realize the game is still here without the expansion yes? Delaying it for another year wouldn't fix the problem if the worldwide shortage of PC/server components isn't resolved.
This congestion will last for the weekend, and then go away for the most part. I' not willing to wait a year or more for something that will be over in a matter of days.
Ya'll need to get over yourselves. If I get stuck in queue, I just work on the AT-AT I just bought.
yeah it will last 2 weeks with up to a month tops. it might as you said go away after the weekend, though I think this is pushing it a bit. once the players who rush the story and don't do anything else are done it will pretty much die down to maybe a bit above normal capacity but it should't be too badYou realize the game is still here without the expansion yes? It should die down quicker than most expect. It is the holidays and people cannot get much time off during such a busy time of the year. Come Monday and I personally do expect much smaller queues across the board.yeah it will last 2 weeks with up to a month tops. it might as you said go away after the weekend, though I think this is pushing it a bit. once the players who rush the story and don't do anything else are done it will pretty much die down to maybe a bit above normal capacity but it should't be too bad
hopefully, it is making some duty queues rather terrible. one of my FC mates gave up on a 8 man story instance because even after an hour not a single person joined.
yawn.... someone else that acted like SE hasnt posted about the issues waaaaaay before SW released and that they have not been upfront about anything lol. They stated long ago they are having issues getting new servers due to the shortage and they also have stated that there be long que times when SW release if there a new influx of people since they didn't originally expect a influx during the pandemic and a new influx of WoW players.
But hey do what you think you need to Ill and many other will sit here eating popcorn and understand how the real world works and watch the Karens flop around
We paid for a real money for a service too.
But this is the problem with the "the customer is always right" mentality. In most of these threads they've most certainly been wrong. We know why there is a problem. We know where it is out of their control. We know what can be done about this. We know what's stopping it from happening. Yet the 'customer' still has to point fingers. Actually, this is what I disliked about working in customer service, something happens outside of your control and you're up front and honest about it? The customer doesn't care, it's your problem and it's a disgrace that they're inconvenienced by it, rather than understanding the situation, it's just they didn't get what they wanted and are unhappy about it and the reason why is rarely "good enough". I mean some customers are understanding, but this whole things really stinks of that.
Sure, they're right to be frustrated, annoyed, exacerbated and so on. I am 100% happy to empathise with that.
It sucks. But on this occasion? It IS defensible. You still need somebody to point your finger at and direct your frustrations towards? Try bitcoin miners, or if you like or 5g.
But at least they're giving us free game time and may extend it depending on how long it goes on for. So for all the "give us a refund" folks here you go, you're not being charged for a service whilst this is still happening.
How about this. For all the people saying "they should have delayed it". Could you all just wait 2...3...4 weeks before trying again? It'll alleviate our server capacity and by the time 2 weeks is up, you'll find queues are likely shorter. You guys don't mind waiting for a smoother experience, so by all means...wait.
This is probably better than waiting around for them to upgrade their servers during a pandemic and a global semi-conductor shortage. A pandemic that's been around for nearly 2 years and a shortage that's been around for over 2 years and both with no clear sight as to when they'll end.
They offers 7 days of sub as a compensation to sub players. In term of your money, they have done paying their debt for the time you have to wasted during queue until further problems, if any.

Also explains why 2002 or other errors happen. 2002 can also be encountered if your Internet connection is unstable, like using wifi or your ISP hates you. I encounter this error often before EW when my ISP decides to be subpar.
