Log in ques and Error 2002

I have been at this pretty much all day starting from around 8am and now going on to 4pm, every time my que drops into the 1000's or the 100's I get the 2002 error and I'm sent back to the start of a 6000 que.

I know the error is supposed to stop things from becoming unstable but instead of crashing the que and forcing everyone back to square one, why can't the error stop people from joining the que in the first place with a message asking them to come back half an hour later.

By crashing the que not only are the people who were already trying to log in going to be joining the que, but so are the people who caused it to happen, this doesn't stop the problem it's supposed to prevent it's become a part of the cause by creating for many people an endless que.

I spent over 5 hours trying to log on today every time I got close it crashed and I had to start back at the end of the que.

I absolutely agree with you!

This error is just ridiculous, i know it was implemented to prevent the server crashing..but its actually doing sort of what its was created to prevent in the first place (crashing the que system instead).
