Personally, I wouldn't go for anything like "5 seconds to charge up". Even a single GCD's time feels LONG on Monk. But I'd be cool with the occasional ability like that being situationally optimal if its timing were flexible.
Honestly the thing I want most is just a goddamn suplex. But I don't ever see SE implementing that with how uniquely it'd have to be handled in terms of how it would interact with the enemy. At least for bosses. I guess for regular mobs it could work like an extended stun. Assassinate on NIN is already kinda a "grab" in a way.
