I hate the duties where you're forced to play as a different character and some of the normal solo duties as well. I stopped playing for a while because of the Nadaam solo duty in SB, so yes, in effect, I quit the game over it. However, I've NEVER been so pissed off at SE over something as I was with this particular bit of story. I get that they wanted us to feel powerless in the face of Fancy Dan and Zenos' power, but forcing us out of ourselves for a cheap trick was poor writing. As one of the previous posters said, it broke the trust I had in the writers.

Find some other way to make us afraid. Don't take away our agency, toss us into a solo duty, and still have us miraculously/heroically save the day right at the very end. If they wanted us to feel powerless, make us actually powerless to change the outcome of something meaningful. If we were going to be heroic at the end, let us be heroic all the way through.
