"In from the Cold" Scenario, any way to skip it?

I haven't been playing non-stop and leveling up Sage and a little bit other classes so I just reached the quest. Was in the middle of it when maintenance hit and I hate the quest.

While it can be good to play as other characters, when there is actual reason for it. That quest, there isn't. It feels like they're just forcing it on you for the sake of attempting to create tension, even though you know it'll all be solved in the end, and to give you a hard and annoying time.

I literally just told something like this to my friend on the phone. This duty shows the difference between our WoL in everyone else so good. You said it perfectly.

I don't think that really justifies it.
The Scions don't have your fancy WoL powers, and they're able to keep up with you.
There are Garleans like Lucia and Gaius who can't even use magic that can keep up with the WoL, even without Magitek.

It's not a difference between the WoL and "regular people", it the difference between the WoL and a completely inexperienced person. A difference of your level 83 powers to a level 1.
