... Of course I dont speak for everyone, why would you even bring that up? Also, if we changed everything that "some ppl" have trouble with in game there wouldn't be a game. What a silly thing to say.
The funny thing is that i hadnt adjusted my quest box size after i moved to my TV from a standard monitor. So i was operating under "Oh i just have to leave the area" for about 20 minutes straight lol. This thread is a perfect encapsulation of why the game has been getting aggressively easier and easier with each passing year, any modicum of a challenge and there are cries of anguish. This quest was done brilliantly and paying even the smallest bit of attention and reading the text is enough to get by which apparently is unacceptable.
On the plus side, by the time i squinted up at the instructions, I'd already found all the objectives required to clear it, i just had to go back and fetch them lol.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked that quest. It really does beg the question of why we're so powerful. Is it just because our body has an insane quantity of aether coupled with the echo and Soul Crystals?
It raises some interesting questions in my opinion. Questions that i hope get answered.

Favorite solo duty in the whole game so far, actually engaging unlike some of the ShB ones.

I didn't mind the challenge, even if overall, I didn't enjoy it. My problem comes from the "reason" behind it. It was like " hello, we can suddenly do this to you now, enjoy !". It felt, I don't know... cheap?

There was nothing innately challenging or difficult about this quest it was entirely made up of artificial difficulty and completely just a lesson in patience there was no skill required to get it done just patience and maybe some luck depending on how you think about it.
Being able to click a pvp combo, a mitigation button, a damage buff button, and a potion does not take skill nor is it challenging.
Being able to find potions does not take skill & is not challenging it's merely a test of patience.
Dodging mob aggro does not take skill, is not challenging, and is not fun because you don't know if the mobs are LoS or sound based or both.
There was nothing difficult or challenging about the quest it was just needlessly unfun and filled with artificial difficulty.
I'm playing FFXIV not Thief, not Deus Ex Machina, not Dishonored, I'm playing FFXIV if I wanted to play a stealth game that requires skill and is challenging I would play one of those games.
Difficult and challenging content does not require you to be under a handicap.
The difficult and challenging content being requested by the community can stand on its own merit, it requires you to rise up to the challenge rather than being dragged down to its level.
Do not conflate the two.
There are plenty of needlessly unfun mechanics in MSQ instances that require you to restart simply because you it was your first time doing it or there was a gimmick and this is just another one.

i started to fail all instanced dutys deliberately because i dont want to deal with them and save some time. I dont understand why there is no option to switch dutis to very easy right from the start instead of normal. It took me 5 minutes to even figure out what i need to do in this one.
It took two tries for me. I was getting a bit worried when I saw how long the crawl was going to be if you had to go the whole distance.
It was innovative, a different 'play from another perspective' attempt.
That said I didn't particularly enjoy it. Oh well.

Did this one a bit ago. Frustratingly annoying at first, but completely linear, and actually, quite easy - once you discover what is necessary to continue. I do think it was drawn out, and overall pointless. I get what they were going for, but it just fell flat, and ruined the pacing.

I disliked this one too. Hard.
#1 they robbed me of my character
#2 a lot of hidden stuff and time constraints and stealth
#3 redoing stuff that feels bad is even worse then bad
They could have easily fixed most issues though with a simple second life and maybe slightly more time. I mean when there is a lot of stuff to try out, the likelyhood of you failing is high. So just compensate for it :/
