My only complaint for this solo instance was that it quickly became trail and error in the first part. Once the magitech was fixed it was a lot easier to progress.

This quest was fantastic . It created strong emotional feelings , perfectly sculpted to the situation at hand .
We were robbed of our body , angry at that son of a b Fandaniel . We felt pressure to get back to our camp . We were in a state of panic that Zenos was going to cause massive harm to everything we have done , possibly harm our close and dear Scion friends . Destroy the tiny thread of hope the recently rescued Garleans had as they see our Champion , who was portrayed as a Brute but since meeting them in person have seen it was all lies .
It was all going to be undone , everything undone.
Zenos had said to us moments before violating our flesh how he felt weak and strange taking the body he used in post Stormblood to get back to his own body that itself was stolen by Elidebus . We were told how effective they had become in understanding the technique. Nothing was unsaid , it was all leading up to that point .
You were meant to feel helpless , angry , and confused , desperate get get back to your friends .
Then the quest started , you're weak you need to avoid combat . And avoid you can..
Avoid combat i did . I pulled a mob or two , i ran . They reset eventually you just need to be careful not to pull more . The emotions you felt were by design , this set the stage for what had just happened , and what was about to happen
If all we got was a walk to glowy purple circle , enemies spawn, kill with ease the impact would minimal . it wouldn't have felt as desperate . It told the story and made you feel what the developers wanted you to feel . That your enemy isnt a plot armour target dummy anymore , its a very devious , corrupt , nasty bit of work and it made you think you were about to lose everything
Bravo Yoshi , bravo.
Wow I'm surprised to see this... I beat it one go... you guys don't read the tips? They told you exactly what to do...
I cleared it on first pass. Its extremely close to fail.
its about as hard as running to a high level area on a level 1 alt. which is to say easy, if youre careful.
pick your fights, take your time, you'll get there
Take my time? Please, don't be absurd. This is Final Fantasy XIV, I should have been done the moment I entered the duty and saw the first bit of dialogue or better yet; the moment I got past the login queue. Shake my head...saying to take my time. What a joker.

Oh A story skipper! moaning about a MSQ duty cannot be skipped! What a joker you are man
Stuff like this just makes you wonder why XIV's overworld is so ... tame, we remember Raptors and runs to Jeuno from like what ... nearly 20 years ago? Yet if you'd ask me for a single proper gimmick on a overworld mob in XIV that's not a hunt ... i could not tell you one.
Also i think those fkers had flee speed (+100%)! defiantly more then 25%
Getting back to the duty, i think it put you in place showing you just how rough the fights for a normal soldier on the field are. The timelimit is very generous, the duty can likely be done in 5 min but your given 25/30min so you can take it slow.
The game also purposely cuts things very close, for sample the QTE is the same as Seat of Sacrifice, aka a fake difficulty, the it will basically look like your losing but if your in the last 10% it will give you a big boost.
Breath, watch how mobs move and get past them, almost all is avoidable, if you find the 4min regen buff that also helps quite a bit.
