Is there a way to avoid the 2002 error?

I get that theres a billion people trying to play and servers are going to be full but is there a way to avoid the 2002 error? Im willing to wait in line for however long it takes but ive been getting kicked out all day after making it halfway through a 5k person q, it seems kinda pointless to keep trying.

Same boat, what I have been getting is when I try to log back in. I don't even get back in the queue line it just errors and errors. I've been reading and browsing the forums between chapters.

I read a user on Reddit saying that if you wait at the start screen, let the trailer pop (you can skip it), this helps to avoid the issue.

I got the error once, but after trying this out for today’s session, I can confirm it worked for me. 4k queue and no problem.
I even went into a queue to go back to my home server since I logged out on another server before 6.0 like an idiot...

726min (I didn’t manage to go longer, it was late and a real pain), almost 13h in game without any issue or getting kicked out.

Might be placebo idk, can’t hurt to try this.

I swear 2002s have a way higher chance of happening the closer you get to the front of the queue.
I started at 4k, about an hour and 10 minutes go by with only 2 spread out 2002s, but both times I'm able to get back to my spot fast enough. Reached 1600 aaaand then get absolutely nuked by 5 2002s in a row, sending me even further back than when I started. I knew I shouldn't have logged out at all.

Are you on Playstation or PC? I get kicked but it always puts me right back even after the client completely kicks me out. I'm on a PS5.

Ask nicely in support and they may add game time to compensate but they will check logs to see if you played or not.
