FFXIV Not On Square Enix's E3 List

Again.. it is IGNs site.. and they say "Big games at E3" IGN just doesn't consider it a big game.. which they have every right to think that considering the bad launch.. Thats why SE has to Own the Crowd!

Edit: In which case.. they have the Element of Surprise or Preemptive Strike!

Where you think they get their list of games from? The same people who then link back to them saying here is our list! lol

The list is big games, likely playables, i know most are on the list, XIV 2.0 wont be playable as far as i know, they wont be bringing the game, just a video of it. Heck it might not even be at e3 in such that its just a trailer released at the same time.

When sites put up lists, they usually put down games that the studios bring, that is playable and going to be at their booth on the floor, not a video that is going to be on the interwebs.

My only real concern is that they use any kind of in-game video that uses the current server structure. From what I understand, they will be presenting 2.0 only, right?

I'd just hate to see some people get turned off to the re-release because of a demonstration video using the old, laggy servers and slower UI.

I feel like its just going to be another CGI video promoting 2.0

I would be surprised if it was anything more.

Though I am hoping for a benchmark release at that time...would be nice to at least have a little something something. Ya know?

All these concerns are just goofy, there's gonna be mention of FF14 at E3, if I'm not mistaken I believe a few weeks back there was mention of a site being made just for E3. Also Yoshida was just in the states for the last week and I highly doubt he was there on vacation. Odds are he was putting things together for E3 and now he's heading to London most likely to setup things so that the info shown at E3 can easily be shown to those in the European region so that everyone can get the information at the same time.

So sit back and just wait for the devs to come back I"m sure they'll clear up everything this coming week.

even the "official" list has had games missing on it before, especialy stuff that they have kept under rap until its 100% ready(alot of surprises at e3)

games like that get added to the "list" after they go live at the event

SE is definatly registered.

As well as additional FFXIV information and presentation time beign done by Sony to announce the PS3 Beta and release this year.

So it will be covered on too folds, but SE has other anouncements to make.

Did 1.0 even get a "trailer"? The only CGI stuff I've seen is the opening where they fight the Morbol in Mor Dhona. It was awesome, but not quite the same intensity of the SWTOR trailers.
