Its pretty infuriating to sit for multiple hours in a 5k+ queue, only to get a 2002 error, then get 10 more errors trying to get back in only to have lost your spot in line because the subsequent errors caused you take too long to get back in.

Increase the amount of time the token stores your place in the queue, since your terrible engineers cant seem to figure out how to handle an error without making you have to fully relaunch your client and re-authenticate.

While you are at it, store a damned security token on the launcher so you dont have to use your 2FA every time you relaunch. I've literally removed my two-factor auth because im terrified of the extra time it takes me to log back in due to the constant 2002s.

I agree, it's incredibly annoying. I just sat in the queue for over 2 and a half hrs, got to the front of it, 2002'd, and then once I was finally able to get back in after trying to connect over and over, I was at the end of the queue. Not going to wait another 3+ hrs so I can play for an hr at this point.

I mean the reason it takes so long is because I keep hitting 2002s like everyone else. I wasnt THAT close to getting logged in. It was only like 2-3 minutes and i was still 500+ in queue. That's probably another 20-30 minutes of waiting at least.

Really the main problem (if i had to pick just one because they are many) is that you have to fucking re-authenticate every time you hit 2002 error. I've worked on MMOs for a living for over a decade and its totally possible/not that difficult to handle DB connection loss without forcing a full client restart/re-authentication. Or at least it should be if your authentication system isnt built on duct tape and wishes. It's doubly not that hard store a token locally with your authentication status and not force you to have to log back in each time (WoW has done this in their launcher for half a decade now). Square is too big of a company for this type of clown shoes amateur hour shit.

From what I've seen the ticketing system is largely non-functional at this point. I've gotten my place back maybe once today. I've been in queue since around 11 am e.s.t so a good 9 hours now. And haven't even sniffed a shot at getting past this screen.

I had been kicked multiple times during my queue and was able to log back in quickly enough to get my spot back.
It just happened again, but this time I got 5 2002 errors in a row and couldn't get to char select to get back in queue. On the 6th try I got to char select and had my place in queue saved somehow. This was probably 2-3 minutes.

It should be increased to 5-10 minutes. Otherwise we literally have to sit here and watch our screens non-stop.

Held my spot. I think this confirms they lengthened the time by a few minutes at the least. I did get 5 2002 errors before getting back to char select.

i was all the way down to #1 in que and 2002 logged in literally right away again got put to 7500
