Refunds or free playtime?

Maybe not their first FFXIV expansion launch, as MMOs like WoW have done refunds and free playtime additions in the past for when their expansion launches sucked (their expansions on the other hand...).

While I wouldn't be opposed to the extra playtime, I'd just rather see the problem solved before we think about any form of compensation.

I don't recall any from expansion launches but I recall plenty from vanilla.
Those servers were unplayable for weeks. If you got in, you'd crash, the server restarts. Was bad.

Blizzard was doing it in their prime same with Mythic (DAoC) so it is common mesure even where we are popular

That's back when Blizz was a decent company that actually cared about the games they made and people who played them...

I'm seeing a lot of people here saying they're getting into queues of 4,000+, I'm struggling to even get into a queue.
I get told the world is full, try again later, and then I can't attempt to log in for about a minute.
Then if I do get into a queue, it's only about 500-700, but even then, I get kicked before I can log in.
