We got the free playtime credit. Better than nothing. Queues are still depressing though.

This game runs F2P mechanics and charges for inventory and MB space monthly. Instead of picking what might be the middle maybe start at the top and work your way down. Or if trolling start at the bottom and work your way up.. Peoples subs can easily be over 14.99 or as low as 7?

One is entitled to nothing that has not been agreed to in writing.Depending on how the "contract," if any, was worded, then the photographer would likely need to return their compensation if they failed to deliver the product, and, in various cases, they would still be subject to litigation if they could not procure the photos or if the photos were compromised due to shoddy workmanship. Even if the contract does state that they would be keeping their compensation in the event that they failed to deliver on what was promised, then it would simply be smart business ethics to compensate the wedding party, in good faith, for being unable to provide the service for a one-time event (even if they get remarried, the event generally cannot be "redone").
Besides, if a photographer had created a contract that was so incredibly disadvantageous to the wedding party as to deny the wedding party any return on their investment due to failed service for any and all reasons, chances are, they likely wouldn't remain in the business for long, as they would be viewed as scammers.
But the food example and the photographer's example are neither here nor there for service time in an online game. The truth is, Squeen has, historically, never compensated players for lost game time, and they're likely not going to do so for this issue, even if this extends further than the "early access" time frame. They just really are cheap like that.

Fine, for the sake of argument let's go ahead and redo our math to accommodate retainers too. You can currently hire 7 additional retainers from the Mog Station. At two dollars each, that would bring the 30-day subscription up to $28.99 if you hired all seven and that still only comes out to 97 cents per day, which isn't "over a dollar". The only way to achieve a subscription where you're actually paying more than a dollar per day is if you have all seven retainers and the premium Companion App subscription, which finally brings you to about $1.13 per day. Slightly less if you pay every 90 or 180 days instead. This game runs F2P mechanics and charges for inventory and MB space monthly. So congratulations I guess? You're correct if you look for an extreme outlier of a subscription.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.

I was kicked out, too on friday, saturday and sunday - joined back in and i still had my queue Spot every Single time. Just keep an eye on your queue and log back in if there is an error.
Player
I was... It work when the queue is not to bad like in the morning I was able to get my queue back in the afternoon/evening forget about it you are lucky even to reach the character selection.
However, the Devs did give 7 days extra to they current 30 day cycle and said they will give out more if needed and prob going to give out other stuff tooMaybe not their first FFXIV expansion launch, as MMOs like WoW have done refunds and free playtime additions in the past for when their expansion launches sucked (their expansions on the other hand...).
While I wouldn't be opposed to the extra playtime, I'd just rather see the problem solved before we think about any form of compensation.
