but muh entitlement
Given the understandable frustrations all around, making a thread that obviously isn't aiming to create meaningful discussions and instead only seeks to provoke others seems like a poor decision on your part. I would reconsider this course, personally.
I'm not poking fun at the frustrations, I'm poking fun at the babies who, when given an explanation of what went wrong and why, screamed "NUH UH DOESN'T MATTER" instead of accepting that nothing could be done regardless of SE's actions.
SE nearly a week ago: "Alright guys, things may get a little rough with server congestion. Here's everything you should probably expect. You have been warned."
Players: "Okay!"
*servers experience extreme server congestion*
Also players:
I understand the frustration. Seriously, I do. But too many people are acting like they never saw this coming, when in reality they should have. It's not like SE was trying to hide it either.
Eight months ago...
Dev 1: Ok, data shows we are going to need more servers, what should we do?
Dev 2: Nothing, and make up an excuse, we will save money.
Dev 1: Players will be mad.
Dev 2: Not all of them, and they will forget about it.
Dev 1: Are you sure?

Meanwhile in the Forums...
You absolutely are poking fun at the frustration some people are feeling. Please don't add to it by insulting the intelligence of the rest of us by claiming otherwise.
It also seems like you have made little effort to understand the crux of the complaints that have surfaced. Most everyone understands there are supply chain issues and chip shortages. But people are experiencing errors that are knocking them out of the queue, and they want to know why steps weren't taking via coding and design to allow them to return to roughly the same position in the queue they last held instead of being sent back to the end of the line.
That's a reasonable question, and it's one that can't be explained away with your initial trolling comment and image. I suspect most players would care very little about the queue crashes if the queue system had been designed with crash protections in mind.
It really isn't that hard to understand if you honestly try.
For anyone not familiar with it, telling someone what they themselves did as if you understand it better than they do is called gaslighting, and its a frequent technique of abusers. I stopped reading your post after you said this, because I'm not engaging someone making a disingenuous argument.
I simply call it being honest with someone who is choosing to be disingenuous. If, for example, a toddler makes a mess and then denies making the mess when someone points out the mess they actually made, that's not "gaslighting".For anyone not familiar with it, telling someone what they themselves did as if you understand it better than they do is called gaslighting, and its a frequent technique of abusers. I stopped reading your post after you said this, because I'm not engaging someone making a disingenuous argument.
The rest of your comment seems like an excuse to remain willfully ignorant and continue with your trolling.

This isn't going to get Yoshi to give you the kids back.
