Anyone who is able to get in knows there are HUNDREDS and probably thousands of people skirting the AFK rules and not logging.
Square Enix do an across the board server reset and watch how fast the queues and stupid 2002 errors solve themselves.

I get that this game has a problem with people feeling the need to afk forever in Limsa but, Square Enix already said that they couldn't have a solution for these problems because of a variety of reasons including the chip-shortage and covid.
It sucks. I get it, everyone is frustrated because it is weekend and they wanna play. Imo, we should have sub days extended at least - that being said... trying to put the blame on people that are online (and don't want to unlog to get into the queue)... isn't going to fix it. The servers are going to restart, and then EVERYONE will be in the queue, and nothing will change.
You're mad (understandably), but thinking that kicking the dancing people on Limsa because they are afk will help the issue is a weak solution based solely on rage/frustration.
That wouldn't solve anything except possibly make things easer for the first wave of people logging back in. Maybe they they should just give a button to kick everyone when you can't get in?

People are actively being advised not to log out due to the queues making the queues worse and creating a feedback loop.

I love this journey for you!!
Going from incessantly complaining about WoW to this. LOL
Good grief, the current login nightmare isn't bad enough? We want to make it worse by having the ENTIRE PLAYERBASE trying to log in at the same time?! O_O
