Error 2002 is unacceptable

Twice now over the past few hours I've gone from 4.8k to less than 1k and received this error. Knocked back to 4.8k each time. Sad

I got in, after SIX hours of queue babysitting and 3 queue resets. The final queue was 5.5k which had...:

3 lobby errors, one 20 second power outage (that one was at least on my end), around 12 data center lobby errors, and somehow even after all of that it let me keep my spot. You're only getting in by sheer RNG or in the quietest of hours.

i agree, they were very transparent about not being able get servers and warned us they expected to get hammered at launch so i respect them for the honesty... but, when you a consistently booted out of the line and forced to start over at the end it becomes pointless to keep trying, they should have put in a way to keep your place in line.

The bs part is that you have to log back without encountering another 2002, otherwise it is too late to retain the position. Thus another layer of rng we have to deal with.

I've actually gotten 2002 a few times trying to log back in and have always maintained my place in the queue. So far anyway.

If you log right back in if you get a 2002 you will get your spot back

Look Im still very new to this game. I came from wow. The waiting is not the issue for me, The issue here is the getting kicked to the back of the line...Yea they put a notice about this upcoming issue but they had plenty of time to come up with a more suitable way to handle the que issue(2002).

Alright, I have to say, this 2002 situation is unacceptable.

I can understand huge wait queues. I can understand lack of servers.

In both regards, I walk away and come back 5 hours later. I've played through MMO releases before, that isn't new and is understandable.

However, what I can't comprehend is why my client closes every time it receives a connectivity issues.

Or

While waiting in queue I periodically get connectivity issues.

Or

Why I can't even access the queue because of connectivity issues.


This release should have been delayed further and this issue addressed.

I cannot stand in front of my computer for hour after hour attempting to log in. Requiring me to be in front of my computer, constantly entering my passwords, attempting to enter the queue only to be thrown out... or worse, finally getting into the queue to only be thrown out... or even worse, getting to the FRONT of the queue only to be thrown out (Anyone else get stuck at 1?).

I really do love this game... but I haven't seen a release this bad since 2003. That's truly not an exaggeration.

After 11 LONG hours I was FINALLY able to connect and after the first quest I got disconnected... I'm done with this, fix this right now SE.

I Just waited in queue, only to get in, join a duty raid to exit the raid and kicked from server!

so not only 2002 errors but the old 90006 ones ar back in ARR raids :/
