Not helpful.I understand being frustrated, I am too. But, if this is your idea of how to solve problems, please, leave the game, the community is better off without you. There is no room for such outright ignorance of the situation involving the game, just because your immediate attention cannot escape the circumference of your computer chair and you're upset about it.
The chip shortage though, lol.
But for real, I feel ya. I have been playing the game for a while now and just talked my sister into buying the game and getting a boost so she could play the new expansion with me. Little did we know before she bought it that it is literally going to be impossible because every server in NA is way beyond capacity. We waited till 5AM this morning trying to get a character made on my server or find a server she could make a character on and I could transfer too... Didn't happen. We literally can't play the game together and I feel like we are both just wasting our money. I guess we will wait it out. I really can't wait to play the new expansion.
Those of you "voting with your wallets" please hurry up and do it. That'll make my queue go down real fast![]()
Im not sure what you mean by voting with your wallet but, you are welcome? XD
Those who decide its not worth paying for a game they cant play cuz all their available time is eaten up by the queue, and go inactive for the time DO make room for those who can and are willing to queue for hours and try again every time the server error boots them out XD
Good luck! See u when hype goes down!
After all, the easy come easy go arent those who are willing to wait out the spike and come back later, but those bunch who magically appeared for the new content. They will be off in no time, but the sleeping rocks reemerge as the tide is over. XD
They've changed the mogststion again. So i couldn't even find the way to cancel my sub. Ended up buying a jump portion for a retainer so i don't lose all money. Last night i think i find a world that won't take 5 hours to log into everyday, but i can't move to it yet cause world transfer is down. This is the worst launch yet. Year 9.... I'm tired boss.

All cancelling sub will do is turn off renewal, OP. You'll still have same as now access until the sub renews. Unless you're talking about backcharging, then I don't know, that's generally frowned on.
It's in the service account status section, next to "next estimated date of billing"They've changed the mogststion again. So i couldn't even find the way to cancel my sub. This new UI is terrible but I guess at least cancel sub and cancel account aren't next to each other anymore? That's.... Something.
If you cancel your subscription and stop playing the game for some time, you can come back whenever you wish to start paying and playing again.
They are not going to delete your account, nor will it be more likely to suffer some technical problem than an active account.
If you have a house in the game you will lose it and all the furniture in it if you are away from the game too long. (45 days without entering the house, then 35 days to pick up any furniture.) But that is the only thing you risk losing if you go inactive.
The problem with overpopulation is not the total number of accounts - there must be millions of inactive accounts - but the number of active players logged in at once. The chip shortage though, lol.

The Team has said that they don't want to make it feel like you HAVE to log in every day, but log in when you want to. This is...actually about normal for Early Access Weekend. Stormblood...had us all sorts of locked behind instance server single duties that hardly anyone could get through the entire early access. To be honest, it will calm down in about two weeks. it's a pain right now, but...give it time and relax. this is me as a person that's been playing since ARR.
It sucks that we may be losing someone, but at the same time, you need to do you. i live in a house with two other players. i'm the only one that's been able to get through the MSQ. About 4pm EST is when the heavy queue starts, that's not an excuse. it really isn't, it's just an observation.Well while people stuck in queue I go to American server when EU is peak 6k + , USA is 44 people in queue of course you have to start from scratch,I do not enjoy what i have invested time into a game to start from zero. But instead of been stuck in queue I prefer this option ^^Thank you all for your responses, i do not have a house just a shabby apartment so no worries, and ill be back after things calm down enough to, well, be able to play (or as soon as i finish whatever i get hooked on meanwhile instead of q-ing all day). Win-winIf you're asking if it's going to affect your queue times while you've still got time paid for then No I don't think so. You've still paid time for the month, just because you don't have an active subscription doesn't mean you're automatically dropped down to free player status.![]()
Mog Station changes are bad. Not sure wth they were thinking...I know let's make it even less user friendly.
