    5 minutes seems excessive at the moment given that everyone, their mothers and their mothers' pet goats are trying to log in, but I think somewhere around 2 would be reasonable enough. Short enough to not hold up the line too much, but long enough for most people to re-enter their information and log back in.

    That would only work if the data center connection didn't fail at all.
