Log in queues are not stable!

Ok i have been trying to get in since 10 am this morning. it is now 5 pm. Patience is wearing thin. Getting tired of getting somewhat close and getting booted due to lobby errors

Confirm OP's problem. The queue is not steadily progressing at all, I've had friends repeatedly booted 2000-4000 places back in line after getting errored out from 2002. Completely unreasonable.

As stated, my patience is wearing out. This is absolutely ridiculous. you postponed the start because you felt it was not ready. After that delay, and this is what you give us. Wow gets a lot of login traffic too when they release a new expansion. But at least you can get in and play somewhat. Most of us reporting can't even get in.

This morning at 7 MST, the queue was 44. I think the best thing to do, if you can, is get on before 9 CT and keep your character active all day so you don't get logged out.

perfect! people do something to keep their character active and thus deny another a chance to play.... sounds GREAT to me! sounds like you are advocating circumventing active game logout procedures to reduce congestion, this is by all means against the EULA and can obtain a ban for people found to be doing so. also, the gm's can tell (I know this as I've been with gm's from a few different games) when someone is not at their keyboard and then they can take action according to their mandates. your suggestion goes against what you have been complaining about. thanks for sharing your colors.

Sort out your log in identification please. There is no world where you can't tag peoples accounts with positions in queue. I've tried 8 times today to log in through 4,000-5,000 player queues. Hours, to get to the last 200 spaces and be 4004/2002. Then I log back in instantly to be placed back at 5,000+ queue waits. Its 2021, its not hard to give us our queue positions back, really. We've had these queue problems for years with expansion launches this is not good enough.

Limsa would be barren if what you were stating is true.
Now, using third parties to stay logged in could get someone banned, because any use of third parties isn't allowed. However a third party isn't needed to stay logged in: there are ways to stay logged in with just the vanilla game alone.

The worst that SE is gonna do to a player is kick their character offline.
