Log in queues are not stable!

The login queues are stable, and although they may appear to be moving slowly or the countdown numbers may not seem to be progressing, we have confirmed the queue is steadily moving forward as intended. Login will occur in order, so we kindly ask that you wait until you are logged in

That is not what is happening, at least to me and most of my FC. You log in queue for hours, get kicked, 2002 disconnected from lobby. Log back in and are at the back of the queue again. I have been in queue for over 8 hours today... That is not a stable queue.

The same here. 3 times today after queueing for over an our the queue crashes and puts me back a few thousand further behind. At the very least it should remember what position you were in the queue before crashing and put you back in the same place if you reconnect within a few minutes.

Prioritise the players who have been actively playing in the weeks before this release. This is looking like the joke that is New World which for an established game is very poor.

This. This would make ALL the difference and reduce a lot of the frustration at this launch. I can understand queues on launch day, but I can't really understand not having a ticket system for a queue in 2021.

the thing is, they HAVE a ticket system. it just doesn't work a lot, or even most of the time.

So far, today, I am getting back into the queue at the number I was kicked out at. Been kicked 5 or 6 times now. Yesterday, though, it was random placement every time I logged back into the queue. Hopefully, it is stabilizing.

Can't say I had the same luck - got kicked 3 times now, and always coming back from where I started + 500 or so (right now Im at 7300 coming from over 9k). Again, I would be fine by it if it just returned me around the same place. Your comment might be a light at the end of the tunnel though! *crossing fingers*

Its encouraging - kicked shortly after sending this, but came back at ~7100.

This morning at 7 MST, the queue was 44. I think the best thing to do, if you can, is get on before 9 CT and keep your character active all day so you don't get logged out.

gonna second this, getting kicked out of queue after wating for over an hour all day. i don't mind waiting, but getting kicked out of queue once every 1-2 hours is not fun, especially if theres a 50% chance of being put back to zero.

it's an expansion launch, if anything i'm more than a little (positively) surprised that the servers themselves run mostly stable and i'm not gonna go all karen and scream "ree, give me back my money, i paid for this you freaking....." like some people on the forums, but there definitely are issues with the login servers. if squares technicians truly didn't find anything than sorry guys, you missed something. a few people having issues can be on the users end, but in my fc alone there are 5 people i know of that had this exact problem yesterday and another 4 (myself included) to whom its happening today, that's 30% of my fc, and that's the people where i know they had/have these problems.

So while it takes a long time to log in, I get that. I've been stuck at 1, yes 1, for 20 minutes now.
