for me, every time I get kicked I retain my place in the queue. That is untill i reach first and then I get booted back to the begining......every time.
got down to 258 from a 3k que and got the 2002 Error loged back in at the back of the line again so yeah not stable
Just dropped for the 4th time but logged back in within seconds and luckily kept my space but its still 2.8k so plenty of time for it to drop again![]()
I spent about 3 hours in queue waiting to get in and when I finally got to number 6, got hit with a 2002. Unfortunately happening a lot in my FC. What is Square doing to address this? If no action is taken soon, there is definitely a risk that a lot of WoW refugees go back to WoW.
It's just what I guess what happened on their service side.
Once the queue reaches 170000 people in the queue, it's going to kick everyone out with 2002 error and while still keep processing the queue. It's their way for keeping queue system from crashing.
at this moment, since everyone is kicked out, server will start invaliding people's spot (cuz you're not online to them).
so if you're at 256 in the queue and you cannot connect back to the queue in time before the server invalids your spot. you have to re-queue again.
but if you were at 6000 of 17000, most likely you spot will be kept and queue number will be pushed forward quite some (like 3x00).
You can say queue system is stable... it's right and wrong.
You still can access the queue system, it's stable.
but the queue system doesn't do what it supposes to do with large number of people queueing it. cuz the people spend more time waiting it get kicked out. It's broken.

Not 6000. Just 6. spent hours in line to get to the number 6 and then got hit with a 2002. I don't think they can count this as early access if the majority of players can't access the game. It's just what I guess what happened on their service side.

Look at the bright side. We have 5 afk dancers on the steps in Ul'dah to entertain the people who do get in finally.

I will try one last time. If I get booted again it is just not happening. This is out of my control. But I do hope they extend my membership for the time I could not log in. Feels bad paying for something I can't even play.
